Anita Briem was born in Iceland. Known for her portrayal of Jane Seymour , the young woman who is destined to be the third wife of King Henry VIII in the series of television The Tudors and for her part as Hannah in the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Briem started her acting career acting as an actress in the National Theater Iceland at 9 years old.
