Taylor Swift became a popular artist and singer in the beginning of 2001 with her tales of heartache. Swift was interested in music since a young stage of her life. She swiftly rose through in the ranks, beginning with roles in children's theater and then singing in front of a large crowd. When she was 11 years old, she performed The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. next year, she picked up the guitar and began to write songs. Swift wrote original songs inspired by the country music of artists such as Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks), and Dixie Chicks. Her material expressed Swift's feelings about tweens being apathetic. Swift was only thirteen when her parents made the decision to dispose of their Pennsylvania farm and move to Hendersonville Tennessee. She could dedicate all her efforts to contacting the country music labels that were based in Nashville.
